TJ Thompson, our founder and President, is a true Charlestonian. She was born at Roper Hospital, grew up in the West Ashley area and attended First Baptist High School in downtown Charleston. She then graduated from the College of Charleston and went on to get her Masters in Business Administration from The Citadel. She is on the Respiratory Council for AAHomecare and is a board member of the American Lung Association. She and Jim have been married for over 30 years and have two sons, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren who live in New York. She loves animals, kayaking, biking, working out and spending time with her husband and family. She is most proud of her marriage and her faith and is passionate about caring for the elderly. -

Laura Kuntz, our General Manager, came to Charleston and Atlantic Respiratory from her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2001. Laura has more than 20 years of experience in the DME industry and her background includes expertise and experience in a wide variety of fields including the legal, accounting, construction and airline industries. Laura and her husband, Chad, have five children and five grandchildren between Baton Rouge and Charleston. They enjoy spending time with family, traveling, boating, movies and living near the beach and Laura is most proud of her family. -
Cheryl FitchSee My Bio
Office ManagerCloseCheryl Fitch
Cheryl Fitch, our Office Manager, came to Atlantic Respiratory in 2005. Cheryl is originally from Greenwood, SC but has lived in the Charleston area since 1990. Cheryl has worked in the DME industry for over 23 years and has a strong background in both patient services and billing. She loves watching anything sports-related and is most proud of being a wife, mother and grandmother. Cheryl currently lives in North Charleston with her husband Andy and has two sons, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
